Welcome to The Carriage Hall
We have chosen the The Carriage Hall for our special day, a venue rich in history and charm. Originally a Victorian goods shed for the Plumtree railway station, this unique building has been lovingly restored to create a traditional and warm atmosphere.
The Carriage Hall is more than just a venue for us; it’s a place where we will make lifelong memories. We are excited to celebrate our wedding surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. We can’t wait for you to join us and experience the unique charm of The Carriage Hall.
Travel Information
For those travelling to join us, The Carriage Hall is incredibly accessible, being just a 15-minute drive from Nottingham City Centre. There is ample onsite parking, or for those of you having a drink, taxis should be easy to arrange. Despite this, we would still advise you book taxis in advance.

For people who don’t want to commit to a time, Nottingham does have Uber but you may have to wait for a car.
Accommodation
Being so close to Nottingham City, hotels should be easy to book. However, we are also sharing the weekend with the England vs West Indies cricket test. This means prices are higher than normal so we would recommend planning ahead of time and booking as soon as possible.
N.B. The cricket won’t be streamed at the venue (sorry to the Gaunt family)
